Why We Built This Site
New Mexico gives the public broad access to many court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file. In Doña Ana County, the District Court Clerk handles felony, family, civil, divorce, and District Court probate case files. The County Clerk handles recorded documents, marriage licenses, business registrations, and recorded probate-related instruments. The Sheriff's Office and Detention Center manage custody records, while Magistrate and Municipal Courts handle many traffic, misdemeanor, DWI, and lower-court matters.
